On Thursday 19th September the team at Reekie Machining were hosting their MacMillan Coffee Morning supporting this very worth while cause. Staff from the machine shop and the insitu team came down to the offices to join in the cake fest. There were two standout bakes, beautiful Empire Biscuits made by Gillian in the Accounts team and a Dumpling made by the Machine Shop Supervisors better half, Anne.
We raised £2413.15 and had a great time eating all the goodies. Thank you to all who supported the coffee morning, making is such a great success.

On Thursday 7th December, Reekie Machining held it’s Christmas Jumper Day in aid of Paisley Christmas Food Bank. We raised £110.47 and there were lots of bags of goodies donated too.
Pictured is David Reekie, Managing Director, handing over the donations to Nicki and Emma from Paisley Christmas Food Bank. They are aiming to have 500 parcels available for collection, and we hope that the donations form the staff at Reekie Machining will help them achieve this.
It was great to see our Insitu Project Engineers, joining in with the Christmas spirit, along with the full front office team and our very own Santa Claus, Peter, the Machine Shop Supervisor.

The criteria for the award, has served as a baseline for Reekie Machining and as part of this process we have rolled out training to staff to increase their knowledge and develop their awareness. Ensuring that we are striving to continually maintain our customers and our internal safety.
