PORTABLE CMM

The in-situ machining service recently aquired a portable coordinate measuring machine - the 2.8m Romer arm. The 6 axis measuring arm can accurately measure over a distance of 2.8m and produce 3D models of components. Several operators have received training and have performed surveys for both the machine shop and the insitu team as well as carrying out surveys for customers.
