We supply a wide range of valve related services which include: The removal of broken or seized studs of any diameter. The machining and lapping of worn or damaged valve seats. The facing of bonnet lids and valve sealing faces. The machining to allow removal of a damaged/cracked valve seat, which includes a newly developed procedure for the removal and subsequent re-welding of parallel type valve seats.
Our partners in the development of this procedure are: Hopkinsons Engineering Services Ltd (valve data and specifications) and G.R.W.S Ltd (Welding machines and procedures). We have to date, successfully, removed and reinstated over fifteen valve seats, which previously would have rendered the valve scrapped.
