Reekie has extensive in-house machining facilities. Machining contracts are carried out across a broad cross section of sub-contract work and it is here that specialised machine tools are designed and manufactured.

In common with our in-situ machining service, the sub-contract machining operation is manned by a highly skilled and dedicated workforce, committed to creative problem solving, quality of work and achievement of deadlines. The factory has a complement of up to 40 fixed machine tools to cover sawing, turning, boring, milling, drilling and grinding including manual and NC/CNC machines. Argon or electric arc welding and a comprehensive fitting and assembly function are also available.

The entire facility, including up to 5 tonne lifting capacity is housed within a purpose built factory covering 50,000 square feet. In instances where the physical capacity is exceeded by the component dimensions, the machining work can be carried out using portable machine tools. The physical capacities of our machine and fitting shops can be supplied separately. Please contact us for more information. e mail
