Frequently, specialised jobs require the use of modified equipment. Once our technical staff has ascertained the nature of the job, any modifications or one off tool designs can be made to order. These decisions can be taken more expediently with the provision of drawings, detailing the work involved and the working room available.

The majority of our designs are held on our CAD database, allowing swift modification, where necessary, for one-off applications and the ability to check out the rotational clearances and other restricting factors against the anticipated environment. Field proven designs are developed to maximise the benefits of technological advances of ancillary components. In the event of these services being required, we recommend early discussions on job specification, highlighting restrictions of access etc, in order that the optimum solution may be found. A meeting with our engineering and design staff normally ensures that the most appropriate and economical solution can be found and implemented within a minimum timescale.

When required, site surveys by Reekie Machining personnel can be undertaken at short notice and, once the exact nature of the job is established, a firm quotation can normally be supplied within a minimum period of time. This will include a possible start time and estimated duration, ensuring that you suffer minimum down time to plan other activities accordingly.
